Mole Rats in Space is a cooperative strategy game for kids. This game introduced Peaceable Kingdom into the highly-competitive 7+ children's game category. Packaging design aimed to be clear and direct, while also having a bold presence on the shelf. The game board and game visuals featured a deep blue for 'space' elements rather than black, keeping the overall feeling of the game lively and bright.
To create a believable space station setting, we incorporated as many 'realistic' details as possible in the game visuals. Colors and patterns on the game board and play-pieces were selected, tested, and finessed to closely follow ADA guidelines.
